BlackBerry Playbook Preview Video
(via João Bordalo) Sadly mostly computer generated “fancyness” and weird “artsy” shots rather than a video of people using the thing. I’m guessing people at BlackBerry’s marketing department think they need to do more than show the product in order to sell it. I hate this type of ads.

Editorial: For the umpteenth time, copy ‘protection’ only hurts people who actually buy your product — Engadget: “It’s been said so many times, but I just got stung hard by the DRM bug, and since there’s a ‘Senior Associate Editor’ next to my name somewhere I get to complain about it. What's Wrong With Schooling (instructionism)
What’s Wrong With Schooling - Unweary: “As long as any educational pursuit approaches learning from this perspective alone, young people will continue to enter the global workforce unprepared for the demands of the modern economy. I want my children’s minds to be factories for new ideas, not just warehouses of facts and procedures.”

iTunes’ Ping Network Now Works with Your Music Library: ” at first you could only ‘like’ or ‘post’ songs you’d purchased or found in the iTunes Store. Nokia hires Peter Skillman, former Palm Design VP, as MeeGo user experience chief (update: confirmed) — Engadget Smart. Video: Flash on Android Is Shockingly Bad
Video: Flash on Android Is Shockingly Bad: Lol this is sooooo much like the experience my friends got when they tried to show me flash on their devices - some even tried over 3G and there’s the fact that 80% of all interesting non-adult flash content (TV shows & Movies) is blocked outside of the US. But no matter. It was a painful lesson in patience since I had to stand there and wait...
