I still love Linux for server stuff, but on the desktop OSX is 2nd to none!!! And we get to keep the power of the CLI and most *nix apps have mac ports... But only if there is no app on OSX that already does it!!! The quality of independent apps and their integration with OSX is simply amazing!! :) Welcome man! ;) Disclaimer: Having used Windows (desktops) and Linux (servers) for 10+ years only makes me value OSX more...
