Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of The Sith

It’s completely unfair to put this movie on the list because it owes much of it’s greatness to all the other movies in the two trilogies but I can’t not mention Star Wars and this was the best of the six movies.

The only movie DVD I’ve ever bought – and that was after having watched it in the bigscreen twice. It’s probably my favorite movie possibly second only to the Star Wars Trilogy.

Being very different from the style of movies I usually watch the plot caught me completely off guard and thus made a huge impression on me. Very few movies can surprise me (positively that is), this is the only one I remember that did it.
I didn’t exactly think carefully but this should list should be close enough.
UPDATE: Than Again I totally forgot

These are _my_ favorite movies. And yeah I took into account all the movies I’ve watched.
I’m not a LOTR fan. I had read the books before the movie came out too. I guess if I was making a Top 5 Favorite Books (fantasy/si-fi/novel) post I would consider LOTR but it probably wouldn’t make the cut. I just never really “connected” with the whole “save the trees” thing or for that matter, any other theme in LOTR.
Not a bad list i’m always interesting in looking at other people top whatever movies list. I would replace Sith with Empire Strikes Back which i consider to be my favorite movie and the best sequel ever made. Being that that i’m 33 years old All anybody could talk about from 80 to 83 was is Vader really Luke’s father. It was the crazyest cliffhanger ever. Gladiator’s one of my fav’s as well. Riddick is a good watch. and as for LOTR. I’m not a crazied fan. I thought the two towers was the best. and Return of the King is good but, 20 mins too long. and the first one. well, it sucked.
