USA, Europe, Latin America

USA: rich & powerful;
Europe: rich but powerless;
Latin America: poor & powerless.

If people instead of making silly protests and throwing around ridiculous arguments (yeah shut up about the Iraq war already, it had zero impact on your life) worked towards making their countries better (or emigrated) they wouldn’t need to be jealous of the US.

Additional stab at Latin America (and Portugal): stop complaining and start working! Communism doesn’t work because no one is going to work (at least not well/enough) for nothing and if people don’t work, they are or become poor.

Ahh to be President of.. umm… damn

Today FEUP received a visit from the President. The most I (and most people I spoke too) cared about was the implications it would have in finding a parking spot. I was told that part of the visit was streamed but apparently everyone I know got something along the lines of “not enough bandwidth” when they tried to access it… not a big loss anyway.
